The Conference Committee coordinates and organizes all aspects of the conferences that are approval by the Board of Directors, for the growth, networking, continuing training and education for the betterment of our IEATA community.

This committee works very closely with the Executive Co-Chairs and the entire Board in coordinating conferences so that they promote the goals of IEATA.

If you are interested in joining this committee, please see the Conference Planning Section for more information. To contact the Committee Co-Chairs, email at conference@ieata.org

The Educational Resources Committee acts as an information clearing house for education and training in the expressive arts.

The Committee also raises questions and engages members in dialogue about such issues as applications of expressive art in the world, and how to educate other fields about the transformative healing power of the arts.

If you are interested in joining this committee, please contact the Committee Co-Chairs at resources@ieata.org

The Student Committee advocates for the concerns and perspectives of student & intern members of the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association; encourages participation and collaboration in creating an inclusive and supportive student community; facilitates a network of communication for the expressive arts between and amongst students from varying backgrounds, and ensures student representation during the decision making process.

If you are interested in joining the Student Committee, please contact the Co-Chairs at students@ieata.org

Groups are being formed in regional areas to create a local network of IEATA members and friends of the Expressive Arts to share resources and support and provide professional and personal connections.

If you wish to locate a regional group in your area or would like to assist in organizing one, please refer to the Regional Groups Section of our web site for contact information.
