The Governance Committee duties are to maintain the structure and communicative
flow of the organization, suggest revisions to governing documents with
the support and guidance of committee members, protect the legal integrity
of the association, be a neutral mediator in member concerns, hopes,
conflicts, and alleged violations of the code of ethics, keep the by-laws
alive and oversee the nomination process, create a feedback process
regarding the functioning of the organization and process these issues.

Addition of Future Planning suggests that the Governance Committee can
oversee the basic direction and planning of the organization such as
areas of financial planning, advancement programs and operations.
