FAQs about joining IEATA
What do membership fees support?
As a nonprofit organization, IEATA relies on membership fees to continue operating. Our committees, activities, and outreach are all volunteer-led, with minimal paid administrative support. Membership fees allow us to host international conferences, maintain our membership software, and more.
Ultimately, membership fees go toward our mission of bringing the arts into the world for growth, healing, communication and collaborative learning.
What if I can't afford membership?
IEATA is committed to equitable access, especially as an international organization that is keenly aware of the varying socioeconomic pressures faced by our members in different countries. Our membership is priced according to the Human Development Index, with members from Category I countries paying a higher rate than those from Category II and III.
However, no matter where you reside, you will not be turned away due to inability to pay. If you cannot afford membership, please reach out to us so that we can accommodate you.
Do I have to be a REAT® or REACE® to join?
No. We welcome anyone who is interested in the power of expressive arts! Many of our members do pursue REAT® or REACE® registration, but it is not a requirement by any means.
How do I join IEATA?
It’s easy! Please view this page and then continue to the online membership application form.
