It is time to expand the advocacy of expressive art therapy in the Middle East. One of our programs in the region is to spread awareness of the healing power of expressive arts.
IEATA has many regional groups active in the United States. Find your nearest one below!
IEATA Canada Is a small group dispersed across our vast country sharing a passion for intermodal expressive arts. Our goal is to foster a creative community where the gifts and skills of each member can be shared and enhanced.
This is a community of expressive arts practitioners that has existed since 2005, united by the Russian Association of Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy, created in 2016.
In a continent shaped by stories, symbols, and expression, expressive arts therapy offers space to
listen, feel, and heal. Our European initiatives are rooted in slowing down, reconnecting, and
restoring through creative processes.

Throughout history, the arts have been used as a means of expression for the individual, social groups and communities.
South Africa and Africa as a whole, with its rich history rooted in culture and tradition, joins IEATA with a vision to advance Expressive Arts practices on the continent and foster opportunities where creativity can contribute to both individual and collective well-being.
The Regional Committee proudly hosts IEATA’s Open Forums—monthly gatherings that spotlight professionals in the field of Expressive Arts from regions across the globe. Each session offers a unique opportunity to learn from diverse voices, perspectives, and practices shaping our international community.
Open Forums are an exclusive benefit for IEATA members, but we’re pleased to share select event recordings each month on our homepage so the broader community can stay connected and inspired.
Below is a snapshot of our schedule for the first half of the year.
