Helen Lee

With a lifelong journey as a concert pianist, music and art educator, and professional artist, my extensive background weaves a rich tapestry into the world of expressive arts and transformative practices.

Presently based in Singapore, I am committed to providing both group and personalized Expressive Arts Coaching. My approach is deeply rooted in a person-centered methodology, striving to facilitate transformative experiences through the harmonious integration of expressive arts, sound therapy, and meditation. I am passionate about contributing to the cultivation of a more vibrant expressive arts community in the Asia region.

Joseph
Joseph De Roxas MSc, Rpsy ieataasia@ieata.org

Mr. Joseph De Roxas, or Joe for short, is a licensed clinical psychologist, psychotherapist and certified life coach in Manila, Philippines. He is a graduate of the Pontifical Catholic University of the Philippines, the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor of Arts major in Economics with Psychology units, and De La Salle University Manila with a Master’s degree in Psychology major in Clinical Psychology. He is a staunch mental health advocate and a practitioner /researcher who specializes in adolescent and adult mental health, and the utilization of expressive arts in individual and group psychotherapy. An active member of the Psychological Association of Philippines, Mr. De Roxas is currently working as a faculty member of the University of Santo Tomas and holds a private practice on the side. When he is not working, Joe is cooking and baking as he uses food as a medium of his creative expression as displayed on his social media account, Brownbaker which has been featured in blogs, magazines and newspaper. He dabbles in mandala art as well.

Massami Ichikawa
Massami Ichikawa REAT ieataasia@ieata.org

Massami Ichikawa is a psychologist specializing in developmental psychology and a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist (REAT) based in Japan. She works with children and adults through expressive arts in both social welfare and community settings. She received her MS in Art Therapy from Nazareth University in Rochester, New York. Her clinical work gradually led her toward a multimodal perspective, and she later pursued training in expressive arts at the Expressive Arts Florida Institute. Her interests include creative expression, nonverbal communication, and the role of the arts in supporting emotional well-being and connection with others, particularly for neurodivergent people. In addition to her practice, she translates books on expressive arts and art therapy, and facilitates workshops, study groups, supervision, community art activities, and community-based Creative Wellness Service Initiative (CWSI) programs. Through these activities, she supports the development of the expressive arts community in Japan and encourages dialogue with the international community

Mina Mo explores the vital intersections of somatic movement, expressive arts, and science, including neuroscience and evolutionary biology. In her personal practice, she finds inspiration in improvisational dance and painting.
She is passionate about shifting the arts education paradigm toward a process where individuals can creatively “digest” their life experiences. Mina is committed to guiding others in developing self-love through somatic movement and facilitating the restoration of connection within human systems. She believes that the capacity to accept and love oneself is the ultimate source of strength for loving the world.
